Youth in 6th-12th grade are invited to Midwinter 2021. This year’s theme is “I Am.” We’ll be exploring who we are to ourselves, to each other and to God.

Jan. 15 update: After looking at the 30-days-out COVID numbers in our area, we have decided to move Midwinter 2021 to a completely virtual event. Of course we are disappointed we will not be able to gather in person and introduce the NTC youth to Prothro Retreat Center, but the projection at this time is that an event with 50 people in attendance would mean a 75% chance one or more people would be COVID positive.

Our Virtual Midwinter will offer even more opportunities to hear from CCYM leaders about how their faith helps them define them. We'll also have the chance to worship together, and, of course, play games and meet people from across the connection! Later this month, we'll be highlighting our youth speakers and sharing more about the event.

Thanks to everyone who has expressed interest already, and for understanding this very difficult decision. Please email Emma Williams with any questions.

Each year, Midwinter provides an opportunity for NTC students to support organizations in our community, nation and world by donating to the Youth Service Fund. This year, CCYM has chosen the NTC Peace with Justice Grant as the recipient of this year’s YSF fundraising. The Peace with Justice Grant is awarded by the NTC Board of Church and Society to United Methodist projects that further the work of reducing and eliminating the disproportionate effects of injustice in our communities.

Check-in runs from 8-8:45 p.m. Friday and we conclude by 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

You must bring 1 adult for every 1-7 youth. Please note gender ratios of youth to adults (i.e. bringing 7 girls and 1 male adult makes cabin assignments difficult).

ALL persons 18 and older must register, pay and be MinistrySafe certified. This includes campers who will be 18 on or before the last day of their MidWinter.
