Sept. 22-23, 2023
at Bridgeport Camp
Registration will open in the fall.
Third- through fifth-grade students are invited to Bridgeport Camp for an overnight experience of God, nature and community. Camp begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and ends at 10 a.m. Sunday. This camp is a great place for first time campers and their parents. Our campers will spend time at camp learning, worshiping and playing games.
We call this camp “Camp Bible” because we see this camp as a great opportunity for our campers to learn to use the bibles they have gotten from their churches or families. This year’s theme is “Wonderfully Me!” where we will be exploring what the Bible says about embracing the unique people God created us to be.
Safety at camp is of the utmost importance to us. As with all of our camps, we require Ministry Safe Certificates and Background Checks for all adult volunteers that attend camp.
COVID Policy update: Due to changes in CDC guidance we will no longer be requiring negative COVID tests prior to camp. We still recommend that your campers and volunteers test prior to camp if they have had any of the following right before the start of camp:
- Temperature of 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit or higher *
- Sore throat (not caused by seasonal allergies)
- Cough (for students with chronic cough due to allergies or asthma, a change in their cough from baseline)
- Difficulty breathing (for students with asthma, a change from their baseline breathing)
- Diarrhea or vomiting
- New onset of severe headache, especially with a fever
- Loss of taste or smell
- Congestion or runny nose
*If you camper has had a fever of 100.0 or higher they need to be fever free for 24 hours without the assistance of medication, other wise they need to stay home, regardless of their COVID status.
