What is Spark Tank?

Spark Tank is an innovative funding event focused on sparking ideas for reaching new people across the North Texas Conference. Do you have an idea for reaching new people but need some funding to get the idea off the ground? Is your idea innovative? Does it connect with people in your community that are not part of your church? Does it make new disciples?

If your answer to those questions is “Yes” then submit your application for an opportunity to pitch your idea to a group of NTC peers for a chance to receive a grant for your idea.

Benchmarks that MUST be in the proposal:

  • How does this new space reach new people?
  • What is the regular rhythm for gathering (we are not looking to fund one-time events the new space must meet regularly)?
  • How will your new space make disciples?

Non-semifinalists will be evaluated to see if they qualify for a NFNS microgrant ($500 or $1,000 if it reaches underrepresented population).

The next Spark Tank will be in December 2023.
