2022 Statistics Check-Out Training
Every January local churches, satellites, mission congregations, and new church starts are required to report their annual statistics from the previous year in a process called “Check-Out.”
The general United Methodist Church has changed the portal for reporting 2022 statistics, so the conference is providing training in the use of the new portal. All the statistical information that is collected for 2022 is the same as 2021, but the portal has changed. The new system is called ACStats or ACS for short. It stands for Annual Church Statistics.
Thursday, Dec. 15, at 10:30 a.m. and again at 6 p.m., a Zoom training will be offered by the Center for Connectional Resources. The sessions will be identical, so participants only need to attend the one that best fits their schedules. In addition, the session will be recorded and available on the conference website after these events.
The training will cover the following:
- Logging into the portal
- Entering the statistics
- Further help on answering some statistical questions
We expect this Check-Out Day Statistics Training to last no longer than an hour, and we hope that whomever in your church is responsible for completing these forms will attend.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
If you have questions, please email your district office or Shirley Miller at the conference office.
Close Out 2022
Close Out is noon on Jan. 11, 2023. All 2022 apportionments must be received in the Conference Office no later than this deadline.
Check Out 2022
Please contact your District Office to determine the date your statistics must be finalized so that they are able to remit their statistics to the Conference Office by Jan. 18, 2023. (By Standing Rules, the actual date statistics must be in is Jan. 18. Your district’s date for Check-Out is the local church’s deadline. This date supercedes the conference date.)
Check Out forms will be populated with your Table II apportionment information by 4 p.m. Jan. 12, 2023.
Check Out Forms Other Languages
For those churches whose primary language is either Korean or Spanish, check out forms in those languages are below. Churches may use these forms to arrive at their numbers, but the data itself must be filled in online and the only language available on the online forms is English.
