Spots available on upcoming Harvey work trip to Victoria
Are you or others in your church still looking for ways to help the Texas Gulf Coast recover from Hurricane Harvey? The North Texas Conference Board of Global Ministries is sponsoring a work trip to the Victoria area on Sept. 17-21, where participants will perform early response projects as well as rebuilding/construction work.
The deadline to register to Thursday, Aug. 30, and the cost to attend is $90 – which includes four nights of lodging at First UMC Victoria as well as 10 meals.
As a group, the North Texas Conference is committed to sending 300 work teams to the Rio Texas Conference in 2018, 2019 and 2020. To date, we are well on the way to our goal with 68 total trips.
