As the United Methodist Church faces continuing questions of gender equality, and in light of the increasing national awareness of sexual harassment and abuse that has gone unreported, the Center for Leadership Development will host an in-person sexual ethics training. This training is designed not only to convey information, but to emphasize relationship building and self-care. The Book of Resolutions states that clergy must have regular, up-to-date sexual ethics training at least once every quadriennium to be in good standing for appointment. All deacons, elders, licensed local pastors and diaconal ministers must attend this training per our North Texas Conference Standing Rules.
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., March 28
Where: at the Ministry Center
Note: This is a makeup session for those who did not attend the August 2018 classes.
