Purpose
The part-time facilities/security position provides a level of oversight, safety, security and facilities related tasks outside of normal business hours.
Primary Responsibilities
- Represent the church to users of the facilities
- Provide a level of oversight, safety and security by monitoring individuals and events on church campus
- Facilities related task such as:
- Emptying trash
- Sweeping and mopping
- Room setup for events
- Cleaning areas such as restrooms and general use areas
- Restocking paper products within areas such as bathrooms, kitchens and classrooms
- Minor maintenance tasks such as replacing damaged ceiling tiles
- Window/glass cleaning
- Vacuuming carpet areas
Working Hours
Working hours are typically 5:00 pm – 10:30 pm (hours may vary depending on church program needs)
Weekend Availability A Must
Qualifications
- 18 years or older at the time of employment
- Ability to be flexible and collaborative
- Hospitable personal demeanor
- Computer literate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to move furniture, climb a ladder and lift 15 pounds
- Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time
- Must be able to pass background check
Compensation
PT Hourly – begins at $15.00 per hour
