Job Description

MUSIC ACCOMPANIST

Summary job duties:  

Reporting to the Director of Traditional Music (DTM), the Music Accompanist assists the DTM, Senior Pastor, and chancel choir members by playing the piano and/or organ for rehearsals and worship services (regular worship, special services, funerals, etc).  See job description for more detailed list of job duties.

Status:                                    Approximately 5 hours per week.

Position Available:                Immediately (assuming two-week notice if candidate is actively employed)

Pay:                                         Up to $15,600 per year ($300 per week) DOQ

Education & Experience:  Three to five years of experience in a related setting.

Equipment:  Proven abilities for piano and/or organ.
