Argyle United Methodist Church is hiring a part-time Associate Director of Children’s Ministries to nurture the spiritual growth of children (nursery–4th grade) through fun, faith-based discipleship programs. This role supports families, leads volunteers, and helps integrate children into the full life of the church.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sunday school and midweek programming
- Recruit and support volunteers and nursery staff
- Help coordinate special events like VBS Lite and family ministries
- Partner with families on their discipleship journey
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (children’s ministry experience preferred)
- A vibrant Christian faith and alignment with UMC theology
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or obtained within 90 days)
- Willingness to obtain Texas Director License within the first year
