Job Description

Youth Director in Northeast Texas

Dynamic multi-generation United Methodist church in Northeast Texas seeks energetic, ministry-focused Youth Director interested in multiplying Jesus followers.

Responsibilities:

• Sunday School coordination.  Oversee and teach.
• Wednesday Night Youth programs that energize and teach.
• Worship involvement in two Sunday morning services.
• Vacation Bible School support.
• One week of summer camp.
• Recruit and work well with parents and volunteers
• Collaborate with other church ministries. Attend weekly staff meetings.
• Coordinate with other churches and Youth Directors in the region.
• Oversee budget and maintain financial responsibility

 

Previous Youth experience a plus.

Wesleyan/United Methodist background a plus.

Hours: 20 to 40 hours a week

Compensation: Commiserate with experience
