Job Description

Organist/Pianist

Lake Travis United Methodist Church (Lakeway, TX) ltumc.org          

Part-time position (minimum 10 hours / week); target start date: June 1, 2026.

Responsibilities include leading music for worship by playing organ/piano for weekly Sunday morning Traditional Worship Service (9am service), weekly adult choir rehearsals (Wednesday evenings, 7:15-9pm), instrumentalists / vocalists for worship, special seasonal services, yearly benefit concert, and attending weekly zoom staff meetings. Instruments: Yamaha Grand (C5), Allen Organ.

Hourly rate: $25 - $40 (with a guaranteed minimum of 10 hrs/wk), depending on training and experience. 

Additional income opportunities: teaching in an established Music Arts Academy; playing for weddings and funerals.
