Job Description
First Houston UMC is seeking a full-time Director of Youth Ministry to lead and grow a vibrant ministry for students in grades 6–12. This role provides strategic, relational, and spiritual leadership—helping students grow as disciples of Jesus Christ and engage with their community through worship, service, and fellowship.
The ideal candidate is passionate about student discipleship, skilled in building authentic relationships, and experienced in developing programs that connect youth with Christ and the church. This position will oversee weekly gatherings, retreats, mission trips, and volunteer development, and will play a key role in connecting students to the larger life of the congregation.
