Executive Assistant – Part-Time Position
**Position Title:** Executive Assistant
**Reports To:** Senior Pastor
**FLSA Status:** Part-Time, Non-Exempt
**Hours:** 20 hours per week
**Salary:** Commensurate with experience and church budget

Position Summary:
The Executive Assistant provides direct administrative and organizational support to the Senior Pastor and church leadership. This individual will manage communications, coordinate schedules, maintain records, and help ensure smooth operation of day-to-day church business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and understands the rhythms and needs of a church setting, particularly in an African American, urban context.
Key Responsibilities:
**Administrative Support**
- Manage the Senior Pastor’s calendar, appointments, and meeting logistics.
- Prepare reports, agendas, and correspondence for church leadership and committees.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and church documents.
**Communication & Coordination**
- Handle church-wide communications, including email, phone calls, mailings, and announcements.
- Assist in coordinating worship schedules, volunteers, and special events logistics.
- Serve as liaison between the Senior Pastor and staff, congregation, and community partners.
**Technology & Office Management**
- Maintain digital and physical church calendars, contact lists, and communications platforms (e.g., email newsletters, social media scheduling).
- Help manage church management software and databases as needed.
- Order supplies and support general office operations.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an executive or administrative assistant (church experience preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and digital communications tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with confidentiality and discretion
- Familiarity with African American church culture and values is a plus
Hours & Expectations:
- 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling (must include Sunday mornings and one weekday office day)
- Professionalism, punctuality, and responsiveness are expected
