Job Description
Job Overview: The Church Administrator / Office Manager will play a vital role in the daily operations and growth of our church. They will be responsible for creating and managing digital content, managing administrative tasks, supporting church operations and staff, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our congregation and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:

Create and manage digital content for church websites and social media communications, including Facebook, YouTube, Next Door, Instagram, and other media as may be appropriate.

Manage the church office, ensuring efficient and effective daily operations including answering phone calls, handling mail, and communicating with all campus partners.

Coordinate church events and activities, including scheduling, logistics, and communication.

Maintain church records, including congregation data management system, financial records, and official documents.

Prepare bank deposits and, in conjunction with the church accountant, execute money transfers.

Support church leadership with administrative tasks, such as preparing for meetings and managing correspondence. Oversee data collection for and preparation of end-of-year reports.

Maintain and organize all supplies and equipment, including computers and copier/printer.

Manage and support other office personnel as needed.

Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and congregation members, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a church or non-profit setting.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in social media communications, including the ability to create and post content on various social media platforms and websites. Experience and creativity in creating content a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Familiarity with using accounting software, ideally QuickBooks.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Commitment to the values and mission of the church.
Working Conditions:
-
This position is full-time, with flexibility required for church events and activities.
-
Some weekend work may be required, particularly around major church events or services.
