Job Description

The Adult Ministries Associate supports the Pastor of Adult Ministries to build community among Christ United members and visitors through strong, engaging adult programming. As of Spring 2025, there are 20 adult Sunday School classes and 10 ongoing adult studies/small groups.

The position responsibilities include:

· Calendar all adult classes/studies/groups

· Create Shelby registration forms for all adult classes/studies/groups

· Track adult class/studies/groups and program attendance data and trends

· Resource Sunday morning classes (curriculum, guest speakers)

· Coordinate and manage various communication platforms in connection with the Communications department including:

o Weekly adult ministries newsletter

o Weekly modern worship newsletter

o ASANA requests

o Website updates

· Lead Bible and book studies where appropriate

· Help launch new classes and studies yearly

· Other duties and tasks as identified by the Pastor of Adult Ministries
