Job Description
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Working knowledge of video editing software, primarily Premiere Pro, After Effects and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Working knowledge of shooting, lighting and audio for commercial (non-newscast) productions; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional work a plus!
- Ability to communicate informational/promotional messages creatively and in a compelling way
- Ability to tell a story through the creation of a video
- Works well creatively with team decisions and designs
- Organized and able to meet realistic deadlines assigned for work
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate and further the mission, vision and values of Trietsch through video (includes filming, editing and animating video) and graphic designs
- Create a vision through media images and themes to enhance worship services and online production
- Take creative design assignments from Media Director and video team to produce graphics and video support for ministries including testimonies, ministry highlights, promotions, announcements or sermon support for worship services, major events, web, or social media
- Participate in storyboarding for video and other initiatives that further ministry goals and priorities
- Proactively film major events/activities in the life of the church and be ready to capture unplanned moments; Capture b-roll at various events that support the ministries of Trietsch
- Operate and maintain all assigned equipment, including cameras and editing
- Capture still images as needed
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Frequent: Sitting, Standing, Walking, Lifting up to 25 pounds, and Fine Manipulation
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Typically indoors
