Storytelling | Strategy | Execution
We’re looking for a Communications Manager who is equal parts storyteller, strategist, and creator to help us fulfill our mission of loving ALL people into relationship with Jesus Christ. This role requires a strong writer and designer who can craft compelling narratives, execute high-impact campaigns, and manage a variety of communications channels with precision and creativity.
You’ll thrive in this role if you can seamlessly switch between writing, graphic design, content strategy, and project management—keeping messaging clear, audiences engaged, and brand storytelling strong.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop & Execute Communications Strategies – Shape and implement communications plans that align with our mission and objectives.
- Lead Brand Storytelling – Write and edit content that captivates, whether it’s for digital, print, video, or events.
- Design Marketing & Communications Materials – Create visually engaging assets for print, social media, web, and presentations.
- Manage Content Creation – Oversee the production of newsletters, website updates, social media content, and promotional materials.
- Ensure Brand Consistency – Keep messaging and visuals aligned across platforms while adapting for different audiences.
- Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with leadership, digital content creator, designers (when needed), and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
- Analyze & Optimize – Use data and feedback to refine messaging, improve engagement, and enhance design effectiveness.
- Oversee Project Management – Juggle multiple priorities, deadlines, and moving pieces with efficiency and creativity.
What You Bring:
- A passion for using your skills to serve a church that truly lives out its mission to love ALL people in a diverse and welcoming community.
- Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats (digital, print, video scripts, etc.).
- Graphic design skills (experience with Adobe Creative Suite).
- A knack for organization and project management—you can handle multiple projects without missing a beat.
- The ability to develop and execute communications strategies from concept to completion.
- An eye for brand aesthetics and storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with social media management.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to adapt and pivot when needed.
