Joel Eichler's Bio
Joel Eichler was born in Dallas, but after spending most of his life in the greater Houston area he returned to the DFW area, served as the Director of Student Ministries at Prosper UMC before moving on to the same role at First UMC Richardson. He was baptized and confirmed in the United Methodist Church. Joel has been involved with youth ministry as a volunteer since 2008 and professionally since 2012. Joel completed a certification program in 2019 through Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University and is certified in United Methodist Youth Ministry by the General Board of Higher Education Ministries. Joel is married to Lauren. They have one son, Emet, and two dogs, Penny and Nala.
CJ Rice's Bio
CJ Rice is a cradle Methodist, baptized and confirmed in the United Methodist Church. She has overseen youth ministry for more than 11 years at various churches including Farmersville UMC, First UMC Plano and First UMC McKinney. She graduated from Southern Methodist University’s Perkins School of Theology with a Masters of Arts in Ministry. She lives in McKinney with Dutch, her virtually famous pug.
