Beth Smith's Bio
Beth Smith is a wife, mother of three daughters and the Director of Welcoming Ministries and Leadership Development at First United Methodist Church Richardson (FUMCR). Beth loves connecting people to their inner-selves and to each other. She has a passion and talent for supporting others through the process of self-discovery. Her gift is in helping people discern their strengths and gifts, as well as how to best put those into action. Beth’s 25 years of experience working in Human Resources and Leadership Development, combined with growing up as a Lutheran Minister’s daughter, provides a natural and comfortable connection for her responsibilities at FUMCR. Beth enjoys spending time with her family, running, reading and making specialty cakes.
