Purpose: To provide, at minimum, a $500 scholarship for women who are North Texas Conference clergy candidates. The scholarships are for seminary, books and/or childcare expenses.
Eligibility: Women applying must be certified candidates in the North Texas Conference. The candidate must either be enrolled in seminary or Course of Study. Those who are in the residency program or ordained are not eligible.
Deadline: Applicants must submit their resume and an application by Aug. 1.
Selection: The selection team will consist of convener of the North Texas Conference Clergywomen and other clergywomen leadership.
Process of Selection: The selection team will review applications. The selection team will contact the applicant if they are selected for a Zoom interview which will be conducted the week of Aug. 8.
Funds: Funds are raised by the North Texas Clergywomen. The number of scholarships given will be determined by the amount raised.
