Check-Out Day Statistics Training

Every January local churches, satellites, mission congregations and new church starts are required to report their annual statistics from the previous year in a process called “Check-Out.”

The general United Methodist Church has changed the portal for reporting 2021 statistics, so the Conference is providing training in the use of the new portal. All of the statistical information that is collected for 2021 is the same as 2020, but the portal and process has changed.

A Zoom meeting will be conducted by the Center for Connectional Resources at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7. The sessions will be identical so participants only need to attend the one that best fits their schedules. The session will be recorded and available on this website a few days following these events. If you register for the event, you will be sent the link to the recording once it is online.

The training will cover the following:

  • Logging into the portal
  • Entering the statistics
  • Further help on answering some statistical questions

We expect this Check-Out Day Statistics Training to last no longer than an hour, and we hope that whoever in your church is responsible for completing these forms will attend.
