Lunch on Monday, June 6

What is your first memory of racism? How has the racial makeup of the community where you grew up shaped your views on race? What gives you hope about future race relations in America?

As part of the North Texas Conference’s ongoing Journey Toward Racial Justice, we’ll explore these questions and more at a special Together We Dine lunch experience at Annual Conference.

Bishop McKee introduced the Journey Toward Racial Justice initiative in 2020 as a way for the Conference to acknowledge and dismantle racism in our churches and the communities we serve. Together We Dine engages participants in courageous, facilitated conversations and will help move us forward on our Journey Toward Racial Justice work.

We’ve shifted our usual Monday lunch events to clear any schedule conflicts with this featured event. We hope you’ll choose to participate in this transformative meal on Monday, June 6.
