Job Description
Cabot United Methodist Church is an inclusive and welcoming congregation looking to add a full-time Minister of Youth and Children to help guide parents, families and church members in strengthening the faith formation of our youth and children.
This person will coordinate all ministry activities for youth and children and, in addition to office hours, will be present for Sunday morning, Wednesday night activities and other events including but not limited to mission trips, conference and district activities and other activities outside of church settings.
The Minister will coordinate all volunteers for the youth and children’s ministries and provide training and education that inspires and equips volunteers to provide excellent ministry and leadership to and for youth and children. The minister will be responsible for following the safe gatherings policy.
The youth and children minister should be skilled at building relationships with youth, children, parents and volunteers and be able to work collaboratively with the pastor, church staff, and leadership board.
Qualifications: Experience in youth ministry; 4-year degree preferred or some college with experience will be considered.
Salary Range: $50,000 to 60,000
