Job Description

The mission of Wesley UMC Children’s Ministry is to support families in their children’s spiritual development and provide experiences through which children develop a loving relationship with God and one another through Jesus Christ. 

Wesley UMC is experimenting with integrated Christian education across ministries with Children, Youth and Adults (with focus on parents). The ideal candidate will be able to orchestrate the Director of Children’s Ministry in concert with the Director of Adult Christian Education.  

Wesley United Methodist Church is a part of the Wesleyan tradition. The Director is to promote grace centered Wesleyan Theology (ie: not reformed, Calvinism, dispensationalism, etc). The diversity at Wesley requires the ideal candidate to work across the theological spectrum with grace.
