Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Pastor of Congregational Care, this position provides administrative support for all areas related to this ministry including:
- Prayer Ministry
- Prayer Shawl Ministry
- Hospital Visitation Ministry
- Memorial Services Ministry
- CCM Ministry
- Grief Care Ministry
- CareerCare Ministry
- FinanceCare Ministry
- Wedding Ministry
Essential Functions
- Data Entry:
- Prayers
- Death
- Staff prayer request from Staff Chapel
- Process all marriage licenses and update Realm profiles
- Record all CCM updates in Realm
- Reports: Extract related daily/weekly/yearly reports
- Emails:
- Prayer requests
- Staff prayer requests
- Distribute ministry group emails
- Phone Calls: Receive and make phone calls regarding:
- Requests for a personal conversation with a pastor
- A death experienced by a church family
- Events and Groups:
- Schedule and facilitate all events for related ministry areas
- Promote all events and sponsored groups, connect with Events Coordinator as needed
- Print support materials
- Assist with room preparation
- Provide support to Pastor of Congregational Care and Congregational Care Manger and Coordinator
- Track receipts and complete monthly credit card statements
- Process and submit check requests
- Schedule and coordinate meeting requests
- Submit Creative Requests as needed
- Other duties
- Run background checks for all CCMs and update Realm
- Send Ministry Safe training to all CCMs
- Process and submit check requests
- Submit weekly information for worship bulletins, This Week at St. Andrew, etc.
- Track and send Journeying Through Grief booklets for those in need
- Provide general assistance and customer service for visitors, emails and/or phone calls

- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands: None
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a non-exempt part-time position, 20 hours per week
Required Education and Experience: High school diploma
Preferred Experience: Church ministry experience, Data entry
