Job Description

McKenzie UMC is looking for an enthusiastic musician to join our worship team and help rebuild our church’s music program.

This person will work with the pastor:

• to create worship services that help people experience God in fresh ways
• recruit, develop and nurture vocal and instrumental musicians 
• direct ensembles
• help the pastor select weekly hymns
• lead us toward a larger variety of musical styles.

The ideal candidate will have experience with church music as a performer or leader and must be able to demonstrate musical skills and conducting ability. 

Hours: 5-10 hours/week

Salary: $125/week ($6500/year).
