If this is you, please apply for the Marketing Communications Manager position at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church. As part of our Marketing Ministry team, you will work collaboratively and independently to develop, produce and distribute content that clearly communicates the vision, ministry, and goals of Lovers Lane United Methodist Church. 

Position Type: Full-time, salaried with benefits

Schedule: 40 hours per week, schedule flexible, must include Sunday mornings, some hours may be done at home.


  • Oversee weekly communication tasks associated with rhythms of a modern church including, but not limited to:

    • Management of the process for all weekend deliverables – digital and physical – including announcements lists/graphics, documents, sermon support, screens, Livestream set up, etc.

    • Management of the post-weekend deliverables including radio edit, social media snippets, sermon posts, etc.

    • All church Email.

  • Support communication needs of major initiatives including seasonal projects (Easter, Christmas, etc.), annual giving campaign, sermon series, special events, and more.

  • Support ministry staff with ongoing and project-based communication needs.

  • Manage video production and relationship with outside video production providers

  • Manage in-house printing or coordinate printing with ministry staff. 

  • Manage graphic design of routine print and digital needs including social media, screen graphics, posters, flyers, forms, etc. Includes management of outside design contractors.

  • Manage maintenance of multi-campus website.

  • Manage primary social media accounts (including social media consultant relationship).

  • Act as liaison for internal communication between campuses. 

  • Attend meetings as required.

  • Actively support the mission of the church to love ALL people into relationship with Jesus Christ through other duties as assigned.


  • Experience and proficiency with graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience or ability to acquire skills in web site content management.

  • Detail oriented with strong gifts in administration.

  • Project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Have strong written & verbal communication skills. 

  • Proactive attitude and temperament.

  • Excellent relational skills. 

  • Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude. 

  • Basic video editing skills and experience would be a plus.

  • Past experience in a church work environment would be a plus.

  • Knowledge of worship presentations systems, such as Pro Presenter would be a plus.

Education and Experience

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university, minimum of two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Preferred: Experience in communications disciplines, including graphic design, web design and content management, and/or editorial management.
