Job Description
Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (GSUMC) is looking for a pianist who:
- Can play for our 11 a.m. church service every Sunday morning.
- Is familiar with United Methodist hymns and church services although that is not a requirement.
- Can play the piano during our worship service accompanying the congregational hymns as well as playing a standard prelude, doxology, offering and benediction.
- We must have someone that is reliable, competent and is able to work with various people.
- Someone who can respect the integrity of the worship service.
The pianist is paid on a per service basis. We do not have a choir so there is no choir practice involved. GSUMC usually has one church service per week but during the holidays or Holy Days, we may have a need for additional services.
