Job Description

The Communications and Media Director is charged with managing, creating and planning social media and online campus media content for engagement beyond the walls of the church.

Primary responsibilities are: Attending worship planning meetings, creating social media engagement calendar, planning, maintaining and growing an engaging social media platform, directing and producing Sunday worship service and other services (Holy Week, Lent, etc.), and maintaining the church website.

The hope is that the Communications and Media Director will be innovative and self-driven to enhance and expand the online campus, social media presence and communications as part of the ministries of the church. The ideal candidate should possess some experience and/or education in Audio and Visual equipment and software, social media, marketing, web design or photo/videography.

We currently have one worship service that is a traditional, liturgical service. Our musical elements consist of four hymns, a choral anthem, and several other combinations of music in every Sunday worship service. This congregation has also had a history of incorporating modern worship songs into service.

We livestream to Facebook and YouTube via 3 cameras. We have an upgraded sound system and video broadcasting system. We have a volunteer team that assists with Sunday worship productions.

Hours: 20-25 per week.
