Job Description

Arborlawn United Methodist Church located in southwest Fort Worth seeks a full time (40+) Director of Student Ministries for an established program for 6th-12th grades. Primary responsibilities include creating, planning, implementing: Sunday night programming/worship/life group ministries and Sunday School. Recruiting and training volunteers for all events. Long and short-term missions on and off campus. Building relationships with students and their families through the ministry of presence. Confirmation classes, Graduate Sundays and everything in between. Strong understanding of Wesleyan theology and polity. Priority will be given to individuals with a strong educational background as well as 5+ years in a paid full-time Student Ministries position. The Director of Student Ministries is a part of the Family Ministry team on the Arborlawn campus.
