Where: In-person at First UMC Richardson
What: Per the Book of Discipline, clergy are required to complete sexual ethics training on a regular basis. The North Texas Conference policies and procedures require this training be completed every 4 years. This is the only time training will be offered.
Trainer: Rev. Beth Crissman from the Western North Carolina Conference. Beth currently pastors a large church and is the author several books. Her ethics workshop is deeply rooted in scripture and the psychology of functional and relational boundaries. Informed by her specialized training and experiences as an ordained elder, District Superintendent, and as an R.N. studying and implementing research in Behavioral Change Theory, Beth provides a fresh and holistic perspective.
Cost: $12 for lunch. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available. If you do not want lunch, select the No Lunch option in the dropdown. There is no charge if you do not want lunch.
